Part of the program of the 17th AL ESTE, San Marcos International Film Festival. After eight years in prison for killing his wife, Takuro Yamashita is released on parole with an eel as his only companion and opens a barbershop outside Tokyo. When he meets Keiko and tries to rebuild his life, the reappearance of a former cellmate threatens to undo all his efforts.
