Arirang
Why we recommend it
Arirang occupies a house on Calle Las Orquídeas, in the residential part of San Isidro, with a wood-panelled dining room, Korean prints and a private room for groups. The menu is classic Korean: the photos diners post to Google keep returning to the bibimbap, the bulgogi, the gimbap, the soups and above all the banchan — that row of little dishes that reaches the table before the order does. Our read: this is community Korean rather than fashionable Korean — a plain dining room, table service, no bar and no grill sunk into the table — and that is exactly the reason to come; the nomination for Best Korean Restaurant at the 2026 Premios Somos confirms it from the outside. Practically: it opens Monday to Saturday from noon to ten and does not open on Sundays, it has free parking, and the place is wheelchair accessible, toilets included. Curation note: the house publishes neither a website nor a verifiable Instagram, so Contact stays incomplete and there is no priced menu to load. And a catalogue note: this entry has no cuisine tag because "Korean" does not yet exist in Limeo's closed list.
