Chifa Ming Yin

Ming Yin is on Calle Amador Merino Reyna, at block 6 of Avenida Javier Prado Este in San Isidro, a block from the Westin hotel. Its official menu includes the Ming Yin seafood platter, Peking roast duck with pickled turnip, Xia Tian pork with peaches, Chin Chin steamed fish, a Chinese-style ceviche and Mongolian hot pot; fried rice is what shows up most in diners' photos. It has large dining rooms, a private room and an events area. Our take: this is the family-celebration chifa of the business corridor, with tablecloths and platters in the middle and prices above the neighborhood chifa. It opens Monday to Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and on Sundays until 9 p.m.; Google recommends booking and there is free parking.
