DON DINO Pizza & Pasta

Don Dino has three locations in Surco, and this is the one at Calle Mercaderes 300, with a dining room and open-air terrace seating. The house describes itself as a trattoria with more than 30 years of history and Italo-Peruvian food with traditional flavors: pizzas, pastas and lasagnas are what show up most in diners' photos. Our take: it is a seasoned neighborhood pizzeria, closer to a long family meal than to trendy Neapolitan pizza, and it fills that role well. It opens daily from 12 pm to 11 pm; Google says it does not take reservations, has high chairs for children and allows dogs. The official menu is published as a PDF on its website.
