El Parrillero

El Parrillero occupies a red-fronted house with wooden balconies on Calle Francisco Masías, in San Isidro's business district. The house presents itself as a specialist in domestic and imported cuts of meat, with American beef as its main draw, and pairs the grill with a wine and spirits list. According to its website, the restaurant was born when its owner, Gladis Andagua, decided to innovate after almost ten years in business. Our take: it is a classic tablecloth steakhouse with table service, better suited to a business lunch or a long dinner than to novelty. It opens Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 00:00 and Sundays until 22:00; it takes reservations through its website and Google lists free parking.
