El Piombino - San Miguel

El Piombino's San Miguel branch is at Av. Rafael Escardó 711, in Maranga, one of the brand's three locations alongside Surco and San Isidro. It is a bakery, café and restaurant at once: the official menu opens with breakfasts such as the Desayuno Piombino (lomito al jugo with French bread, papaya juice and coffee) or the Ranchero, and continues with sandwiches, salads, main dishes and the cake display. Our take: it is Maranga's neighborhood café for an early breakfast or an unfussy afternoon snack, more useful for its hours and broad menu than for any culinary ambition. According to its Google listing it opens from 7 a.m. every day; it offers delivery and street parking is somewhat difficult.
