El Tayta

El Tayta is at Av. José Larco 437, in the nightlife heart of Miraflores, a few blocks from Parque Kennedy. Its Instagram advertises live music every day, cocktails and bar snacks, and celebrates 25 years with 'good vibes since 1999'; Google tags it for live performances, a good beer selection, happy hour and room for dancing. Our take: it is one of the bars that have kept Larco's nightlife going for decades, a place to go in a group, sing and dance; the food is bar fare and plays a supporting role. Practical notes: it opens Monday to Friday from 18:00 and Saturdays from 19:00, and according to Google it closes in the early morning (3:30 on Mondays and Tuesdays, 4:30 Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 Fridays and Saturdays); it is closed on Sundays. It takes reservations. Curation notice: it has no website of its own, only social media, and Google states that the entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
