Hikari - San Miguel

Hikari is at Av. La Mar 2339, a few blocks from the Plaza San Miguel mall, and is one of the brand's three branches alongside La Molina and Rímac. The house presents itself as a rotisserie-chicken restaurant of Creole and Asian-fusion "XL plates": beyond the chicken, the official photo on its Google listing is a lomo saltado with fries and rice. Our take: it is a neighborhood pollería with restaurant ambitions, built for eating generously with family —Google lists a kids' menu— rather than for discovering anything new. It opens daily at noon and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays; Google recommends booking for lunch and dinner, and it runs its own delivery and WhatsApp ordering.
