Kaldis Specialty Coffee Recavarren

Kaldis occupies the corner at Calle General Recavarren 598, in a residential part of Miraflores a few blocks from Avenida Larco. It is a specialty coffee shop: diners' photos mostly show cappuccinos, milk teas, croissants and paninis, and back in 2017 El Comercio recommended its chocolate cake and apple crumble. Our take: it is a neighborhood café for sitting down unhurried, better for a quiet morning or an afternoon break than for a full meal. According to Google it opens every day from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., does not take reservations and allows dogs; street parking is free but somewhat difficult.
