Mi Carcochita San Borja

Mi Carcochita has its San Borja location at Av. Aviación 2739, with another in Lince. The house presents itself with a tradition dating back to 1985 and a menu of Peruvian and Creole food: its posts feature lomo saltado, broaster chicken with avocado and fries, green noodles with steak and sandwiches, plus salchipapas and tacos. Our take: it is a home-style restaurant with generous portions and moderate prices, useful for an everyday lunch or a late craving rather than a special occasion. It opens from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, until midnight on Friday and Saturday, and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Google indicates it does not take reservations.
