Punta Sal

Punta Sal sits on block 3 of Malecón Cisneros, at the corner of Calle Trípoli, and is one of the brand's four locations in Lima (the others are in San Isidro and Camacho). The house describes itself as Peruvian food specializing in fish and seafood, and its menu lists fish ceviche, arroz con mariscos, parihuela, tacu tacu and the Punta Sal carpaccio. Our take: this is the traditional tablecloth-and-long-lunch cevichería, built for groups and families rather than chef-driven cooking; its value lies in the consistency of a classic seafood menu. It is open only during the day: 11:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and until 17:30 on weekends, and Google recommends booking for lunch; reservations are handled via WhatsApp. Curation note: the Google listing shows closing at 18:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, while the official website says 17:30; we used the website's hours.
