Selectos Ibéricos República occupies a glass-fronted space at Av. República de Panamá 3508, in San Isidro, one of the brand's ten or so shops in Lima. It describes itself as a Spanish abacería: it sells Iberian ham, charcuterie, cheeses and gourmet products, while also serving tapas and wine at the table; on Google, the tortilla and the prawn and fish paella are the most ordered, and the house highlights its wine selection. Our take: it is less a restaurant than a shop you end up staying in, a handy format for an early breakfast, a tapas lunch or an after-office glass of wine. It opens Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. (until 10 p.m., and until 11 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, according to Google), Saturdays from 9 a.m., and is closed on Sundays.
