The J-rock scene arrives with one of its most emblematic names. DOES, the powerful Japanese trio recognized worldwide for performing some of the most iconic songs from Gintama and Naruto, will perform for the first time in Peru this Friday, July 17 at C.C. Festiva.
Formed in Fukuoka, DOES built its own identity within Japanese rock thanks to its blend of garage rock, alternative rock, and punk energy, becoming a cult band both for J-rock followers and for generations of anime fans.
Their music was etched into collective memory with songs like "Donten," "Shura," "Bakuchi Dancer," "Know Know Know," and "Breakdown"—fundamental pieces of the Gintama universe—as well as "Guren," a song featured in Naruto Shippuden. Beyond anime, DOES is a band with a solid track record and a live intensity that has established it as one of the most representative projects of contemporary Japanese rock.
Lima will witness an encounter awaited for years: a night to experience live the anthems that marked generations and the power of an essential J-rock band.
Co-produced by: Festival Bizarro and Good Crew.
