Why go
"El método Grönholm" is one of those plays that works anywhere because the mechanism is universal: lock four people competing for the same thing in a room and progressively remove the rules. What starts as a job interview ends somewhere considerably uglier.
Jordi Galceran's text has circled the world for years, and here it's staged by Los Productores with Stephany Orúe, Manuel Gold, Oscar Meza and Emilram Cossío — a cast that holds acid comedy well, which is exactly the register it needs.
Thirty-five performances, Wednesday to Sunday at the Claretiano in San Miguel. A long run, in a district that doesn't usually get theatre of this calibre.
