Asháninka soprano voices who learned their community's songs from their mothers and grandmothers join Peru's National Children's Choir for a concert that reclaims the intellectual ownership of indigenous music. Organized by CHIRAPAQ Center for Indigenous Cultures of Peru with the support of CCE Lima, it presents a never-before-heard repertoire performed by Asháninka women who continue passing these songs on to new generations.
