Why go

A co-production of the Alianza Francesa de Lima and Éxodo Teatro.

The Marriage of Figaro tells the story of a day of madness at the Castle of Count Almaviva, where Figaro and Susana, his servants, are getting married; but the Count wants to sleep with Susana, invoking the abolished droit du seigneur, which provokes a conspiracy among all the staff to expose his infidelities and make the Count repent. All of this in a comedy of errors full of social satire and romantic intrigue.

THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO

After the successful season of The Barber of Seville, the play that inaugurated Beaumarchais's celebrated Trilogy and has traveled the world thanks to the wit of its author and the charismatic Figaro, the Alianza Francesa de Lima and Éxodo Teatro present The Marriage of Figaro, whose action takes place at the castle of Count Almaviva, on his Aguas Frescas estate, near 18th-century Seville.
