ABOUT THE PLAY: Geppetto builds a charming little wooden puppet, and then, as he goes off to sleep, a funny character named Jiminy Cricket arrives, and the Fairy with the Blue Star also appears and gives life to Pinocchio.
When Geppetto finds out, he is overjoyed and cares for Pinocchio as if he were his own son, but the day he was going to school he is intercepted by the wicked Stromboli, who takes him away to his circus.
Jiminy Cricket goes off in search of him.
