About Playa El Silencio
El Silencio, in Punta Hermosa, is the district beach with the most infrastructure for summer visitors: the El Silencio Beach Traders' Association serves right on the shore, the municipality opens a 322-space paid car park in season and in 2025 the Llamkasun Perú programme built access stairs down to the beach. Our take: it is the southern Lima beach for an easy full day, with food and services at hand; anyone after quiet will find it off-season, not in January. Entry is free; parking in summer 2025 cost S/ 0.90 per 30 minutes (Ordinance 536-MDPH). In the Digesa report released in early January 2026 it was rated healthy (green flag); the rating changes week to week, so check the Minsa Verano Saludable platform. Curation note: there is no official listing of parking or vendor hours for the 2026 season.
