About Playa señoritas
Señoritas is a beach in Punta Hermosa, next to Caballeros. Its wave is a left breaking over a rocky point, shared with Pacharacas, the right on the other side (Duke Surf). It hosts the World Surf League's Señoritas Open Pro, held from 25 to 28 February in 2026 according to the IPD, and the Municipality of Punta Hermosa stages beach-volleyball championships on its sand. Our take: it is the beach for watching high-level surfing from the shore; the mood is set by the surfers more than the swimmers. Entry is free with no set hours, and Google says dogs are allowed. In the Digesa report released in early January 2026 it was rated unhealthy (red flag); the rating changes week to week, so check the Minsa Verano Saludable platform before swimming. Curation note: the address is the one Google gives; there is no official information on lifeguards, services or parking.
