Barra Botánica

Barra Botánica is at Calle Libertad 439 in Miraflores, in a space full of plants with a bar, a terrace and outdoor seating. The house describes its food as artisanal Peruvian cooking with natural and organic ingredients from small producers, and adds a selection of coffee, wines and Peruvian spirits for its cocktail bar. Its website shows huacatay and chorizo empanadas, butifarra, macarons and cheese boards; the menu declares vegetarian, vegan and meat options. Our take: it is an all-day place, from a long breakfast to an evening drink, closer to a neighborhood café with a good bar than to a white-tablecloth restaurant.
