Café Ancestral Barranco

Café Ancestral Barranco is at Av. San Martín 141, a few blocks from Barranco's main park, and is the brand's second location; it also operates on Jr. Azángaro in downtown Lima. It describes itself through "Peruvian and international flavors that celebrate ancestral tradition": its Instagram shows baked eggs, avocado toast, shrimp salads, desserts in a glass, specialty coffees and green juices, plus a bar menu. Our take: it is a photogenic brunch café rather than a chef-driven kitchen, working as well for a long breakfast as for a drink on the rooftop as the evening falls; the house runs workshops and themed nights.
