Cevichería El Molinero - La Molina

El Molinero has two locations, in San Borja and La Molina, and this is the one on Avenida Los Constructores, in Santa Patricia. Its menu runs from fish ceviche and tiradito to cold rondas for sharing (ceviche, tiradito, octopus in olive sauce and black clams), plus fried fish chicharrón, seafood rice and Creole dishes such as lomo saltado; ceviche and jalea are what show up most in diners' photos. Our take: it is a neighborhood midday cevichería, for going with family or a big table and ordering for the middle, rather than a destination for chef-driven seafood. It opens only during the day: 11:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday and until 18:00 on weekends, according to Google; it takes reservations and has free parking.
