El Verídico de Fidel has two locations according to its website: one on Jirón Abtao, in La Victoria, and this one on Avenida Flora Tristán, in La Molina. The house menu is organized into leches de tigre, starters, ceviches, rice dishes, soups, fried seafood and Fidel's recommendations; ceviche, paella and seafood soups are what show up most in diners' photos. Our take: it is the residential-district version of a La Victoria cevichería, more comfortable and with parking, for a family seafood lunch without crossing the city. It opens daily at midday only: the website lists 11:15 to 16:15, while Google shows 11:00 to 17:00; it takes reservations and has a children's menu, according to Google.
