El Bar Inglés del Country

Bar Inglés sits inside the Country Club Lima Hotel in San Isidro, and it is one of those rooms Peruvian literature used as a setting: wood panelling, leather armchairs, low light and paintings on the walls. The list runs from pisco sours —the Country Club at S/42 up to the Catedral and the Herencia— to classic cocktails and finger food. In 2024 Summum's jury named its pisco sour the best in Peru. Our read: no reservations, first come first served, and reviewers agree the room outshines the service; sit at the bar if you can. Thursday to Saturday there is live music in the hotel garden.
