Why we recommend it
El Jefe does American barbecue properly: the cuts spend eight to fourteen hours in the smoker and come out on sharing trays — brisket, glazed ribs, sausages, pulled pork — with fries, coleslaw and house buns. There are also burgers, a terrace, a fireplace and a beer list. It works two sittings most days. In 2025 it was nominated at Summum for Fire and Coals.
