El Mexicano operates at Av. Alfredo Benavides 3761, in Santiago de Surco, in a colorful space with a terrace and outdoor seating. Its core offer is «La Ruta del Taco», an all-you-can-eat taco bar; its social media also shows birria tacos, quesadillas and cocktails, and Google confirms it has a bar. Our take: it is less an auteur Mexican kitchen than an unlimited taco party, built for going with a crowd and eating a lot for a fixed price. It opens every day from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., takes reservations via WhatsApp and, per Google, has free parking. Curation note: the house describes itself as «the first and only Mexican free-flow bar in Peru»; that is its own claim, which we did not verify.
