La Gloria

La Gloria is one of the steadiest dining rooms in Miraflores: Mediterranean and international cooking —scallops, tuna ceviche, octopus, paella, roast lamb— served in a European-feeling room with its own bar and a wine list that is half the reason to come. Its chef, Óscar Velarde, received the Gran Summum in 2025, and the Premios Somos gave it World Cuisines in 2024 and International Cooking in 2025. Our read: this is an occasion restaurant, with high prices and service that reviewers describe unevenly —flawless for some, distant for others—; book and allow time. It works two sittings a day and closes on Sundays.
