Cevichería y criollos que empezaron en una carretilla, sobre la Av. San Luis · san borja · $$
Las Barras de Ronald "Sabor marino y criollo"
Why we recommend it
It sits at Av. San Luis 1962, in San Borja, and is one of the brand's branches alongside those in Miraflores (La Mar) and Chorrillos. The menu is seafood and Creole: leche de tigre, fish and mixed ceviche, the Trilogía de Ronald with ceviche, seafood rice and fried squid, jaleas, seafood chaufas and big combos to share; on Google diners highlight the ceviche and the seafood rice, and some note the food can be uneven. Our take: it is a neighborhood cevichería with a street-cart spirit, more about generous portions and fair prices than refined technique, with a bar and happy hour to stretch lunch. Google says it has a kids' menu, high chairs, allows dogs and that parking is somewhat difficult. Curator's note: hours do not match across the house's own sources (Google: 11:30 to 23:00 Monday to Saturday and until 17:00 on Sunday; Instagram: until 23:30; the ordering website: 11:30 to 16:30); we loaded the Google listing's hours, so it is worth calling ahead before going at night.
