Mariate - Monte Grande

This Mariáte shop is on Calle Monte Grande, in Surco's Chacarilla area, a few blocks from its other branch on Av. Caminos del Inca; the brand has three shops in the district and others in Miraflores, La Molina, Magdalena, San Isidro and San Miguel. The catalogue is the house's: chocolate cakes, manjares, cheesecakes, pies, crocantes and cocadas, pound cakes, sweet bites and a gluten-free line. Our take: it is the practical stop for a last-minute cake or dessert, not a café to linger in.
