Pizzas peruanas de autor en Arica, del proyecto Ágape · miraflores · $$$
Masa Sobre Mesa
Why we recommend it
It is at Ca. Arica 399 in Miraflores. Renzo Ángeles opened it — an architect and musician who took up pizza in 2018 — and it grew out of Ágape, the pizza Tuesdays he ran at home for friends; the curved bar was designed by his father, also an architect, so diners could talk to the kitchen. The pizzas are openly Peruvian: the charapa carries regional chorizo, citrusy cheese, fried plantain and sacha cilantro; the huachana comes with Huacho sausage, paria cheese, chilli and mint; there is also a lamb one with pecorino and chimichurri, and a corn one on a smoked huancaína base with huacatay. Our read: this is not a Neapolitan with local toppings dropped on top but a menu built from the Peruvian recipe book toward pizza, which is a different order of operations and explains the 4.8 across 318 reviews for a place that opened in 2025. The practicalities: it opens all seven days from 8 in the morning to 11 at night, accepts reservations — worth making, since it runs full — has wifi, allows dogs and offers on-site parking. The entry records a 2026 Premios Somos nomination for Best Pizzas. Curation note: El Comercio published opening hours of 12:30 to 10 at night and Google now shows 8 to 11; Google's, the current ones, were loaded. Google marks the hearing loop and accessible parking as unavailable.
