Palachinke

Palachinke is at Calle Schell 120, a few blocks from Parque Kennedy in the heart of Miraflores. The menu revolves around numbered pancakes, savory and sweet — from No. 10 with cheese, chicken, bacon and peppers to No. 58 with Nutella, strawberries and glazed pecans — plus rolls, salads, omelettes and sandwiches. Our take: it is a neighborhood classic with simple, recognizable cooking, better suited to an unhurried lunch or afternoon snack than to a gastronomic experience; it works well with kids and groups. According to Google it opens daily from 1 pm to 10 pm and no reservation is needed; parking is paid and Google warns that space is hard to find.
