Restaurante Piso 21

Piso 21 occupies, as its name says, the 21st floor of the Hotel Estelar Miraflores, on Av. Benavides 415, and bills itself as food "served with pride, 21 floors above Lima". It runs all day: breakfast, lunch and a cocktail bar; the menu shown on Google lists Amazonian ceviche, a trio of crispy causa, wok-fried lomo saltado, red wine osso buco and Amazonian chaufa, plus pisco sours and strawberry mules. Our take: it is a hotel restaurant worth visiting for the height and the view rather than for chef-driven cooking; a good choice for a date or for showing visitors Lima from above without leaving Miraflores. Google marks it as romantic, with live music and a private dining room, and recommends booking for dinner and brunch; reservations are made through Meitre and the phone number is the hotel switchboard (extension 5072). Curation note: we used the hours on the claimed Google listing (6:30 to 22:30, Tuesdays until 23:30), but the restaurant's Instagram says 6:00 to 23:00 Sunday to Thursday and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays; confirm before going late. We found no website of the restaurant's own.
