Sándwich Palermo Café

Sándwich Palermo Café has one of its branches on Av. Alfredo Benavides 2518 in Miraflores; the brand was born in 1974 in Balconcillo, La Victoria, and now has locations in San Borja and Surco, according to its official website. The menu is short and classic: chicharrón, jamón del país, beef tenderloin, chicken and turkey sandwiches, with fruit juices, chicha morada, leche asada and tamal. Our take: it is a stop for a criollo breakfast or a quick sandwich at a low ticket, worth it for the consistency of a neighborhood recipe rather than for anything new. It opens Monday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Sundays only until 1 p.m.; Google notes that it does not take reservations and has a kids' menu and high chairs.
