The Coffee Road

The Coffee Road occupies a white-fronted house at Av. Guillermo Prescott 365, in the residential part of San Isidro near Av. Pezet. It presents itself on Instagram as a specialty coffee shop devoted to Peruvian coffee, and on Google the most ordered items are the matcha latte and the cappuccino, alongside breakfasts, light lunches and desserts. Our take: it is a neighborhood café with specialty ambitions, more relaxed than solemn, that works equally well for a long breakfast or an afternoon on the terrace with a dog. It opens daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Google notes a terrace, live music and performances, and that dogs are allowed. Curator's note: the house has no website of its own (its official link is a Facebook page) or reservation system, and Google does not say whether there is wifi.
