About Play! Escape Room
Play! Escape Room runs in the white-and-red building of Play! Board Game Store, at Av. Gregorio Escobedo 768, Jesús María, across from the Teatro Peruano Japonés. It has three 60-minute rooms: Da Vinci – El secreto del grial (mystery), El juego (survival) and Cthulhu: La mansión de la locura (horror). Our take: this is an escape room made by board game people, and it shows in the themes; before or after the game, the shop downstairs is part of the outing. The per-person rate is S/ 65 for a pair, S/ 60 for 3, S/ 55 for 4 and S/ 50 for 5 or 6, booked online per room; the website advertises 20% off on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for students Monday to Thursday and for corporate groups, and the birthday person plays free in groups of 4 or more. Google lists a wheelchair-accessible entrance, free on-site parking and says it is good for kids. Curation note: the website publishes two schedules (10:00–21:00 and 11:00–22:00); the one from the contact section, which matches Google, was loaded. The website does not state a minimum age.
