The first museum devoted to printmaking in Peru, opened by ICPNA in 2019 at its La Molina branch, with a collection of some 700 works spanning five centuries of the technique; admission is free.

The Museo del Grabado ICPNA is at the La Molina branch of the Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano, at Av. Javier Prado Este 4625. It opened in August 2019 as the first printmaking museum in Peru, with a collection of some 700 works representing 500 years of printmaking (La Razón, Lima Gris), and today it alternates that collection with temporary shows such as the ICPNA Print Exchange or exhibitions of Latin American women printmakers. Our take: it is a niche, well-mounted museum in a large high-ceilinged gallery, worth checking for whatever show is on; it lies far from the museum circuit of the Centre and Barranco. It opens Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00 (closed Monday and Sunday) and admission is free, according to ICPNA Cultural. Curation note: the phone number is ICPNA's main line, not one specific to the museum.
