500 Grados is Jaime Pesaque's fire project — the chef behind Mayta — and everything on the menu passes through the wood-fired oven or the grill: pizza, meat, vegetables and desserts. It sits on Av. Camino Real in San Isidro and holds 4.4 from more than 2,200 reviews. There is a bar with well-regarded cocktails, a good wine list, a terrace and live music. On weekends it opens at 8:00 for breakfast and brunch; Monday to Friday it starts at midday. It closes at 23:00 every day. The house also runs pizza workshops.
