Ambra Rooftop Bar

Ambra occupies the rooftop of the Pullman hotel on Av. José Larco, in the middle of Miraflores, with a long lit marble bar, low sofas and an open-air terrace. It is a bar before it is a restaurant: Google credits it with good cocktails, a very good beer and wine selection, live music and performances, and it serves food at the bar; the pisco sour is what comes up most in diners' photos. Our read: it is a hotel rooftop, with everything that implies — a carefully built room, hotel prices and a crowd half guests, half locals — and the plan is a long after-office or a weekend warm-up, not dinner. Practically: it only opens at 16:00, closes at 1am Monday to Wednesday and at 2am Thursday to Saturday, does not open on Sundays, and the parking is the hotel's and is paid. Curation note: the house has no website of its own (its link is a Cluvi digital menu) and the full menu is published there as an image with no selectable text, so no menu was loaded; Google shows no price range either, so the tier was estimated from it being a hotel rooftop.
