Cafe de Lima

Café de Lima calls itself "a cosmopolitan café seeking to bring the New Lima together", and the menu obeys: it is long, runs from morning to night and mixes everything the city eats. It starts with farm eggs, omelettes, waffles and the limadictinos — poached eggs with smoked leg ham on an English muffin under béarnaise — carries on at midday with a run of sandwiches on house bread (pejerrey, chicharrón, butifarra, roast beef, asado, club de Lima) and the smash burgers, then moves to salads, criollo plates like arroz tapado a lo pobre and seco with tacu tacu, oven pizzas, pasta and a long dessert list. The bread is baked daily without preservatives: multigrain campesino, French, ciabatta, hogaza, brioche and butter croissant. The coffee is 100% medium-roast arabica. There are three branches in Miraflores — Angamos, 28 de Julio and the one at Hotel Humano — and in 2025 it was nominated in the café-restaurant category at the Premios Summum.
