Chios Sopas

Chios Sopas sits at Jr. Manuel Segura 137 in Lince and is the soup branch of Grupo Chios, the district's family of Nikkei-rooted restaurants. The menu revolves around soup: a fixed sopa criolla and chicken broth, plus a soup of the day that runs from Tuesday's wood-fired bean soup to Saturday's shambar and Sunday's special sancochado; around them come pollo saltado, lomo saltado, churrasco a lo pobre, tacu tacus, sandwiches and desserts such as tres leches cake. Our take: it is a hot-broth dining room for odd hours, more useful as a late-night rescue or a comforting lunch than as a special outing. It opens daily from noon; Monday to Saturday until 1:00 and Sunday until 23:30 according to Google (the website says midnight). It has its own delivery and WhatsApp line; parking is on the street.
