Cosme

Cosme is a San Isidro bistro that became 2025's big Peruvian surprise at Latin America's 50 Best: it jumped 28 spots to ninth and took the Highest Climber Award, also placing sixth at Summum. The cooking is author-driven but without a long tasting's solemnity: a sharing menu with dishes like pappardelle with carrillera, sliced scallops and anticuchos, and a dessert the room defends fiercely — the crema volteada. It has a terrace and bar, a lively mood and a more local than touristy crowd. It opens every day, making it one of the more accessible top tables in the area. It makes sense for a dinner with friends that wants good cooking without turning the night into a ceremony.
