El Huarique de los Cuchitos

After thirteen years in Pachacámac, Cucho La Rosa and his son Bernardo — the cuchitos — moved to the Malecón Grau in Chorrillos with a simple idea: a small, happy restaurant with no wish to become a chain. The menu is short and local: cebiches, sole tiradito, fish a la chorrillana, sancochado, lomo saltado, and a chicha chorrillana made from a nineteenth-century recipe. It opens only at midday and closes on Mondays. In 2025 it was nominated at Summum for New Restaurants.
