KION sits at El Polo 765, in Surco's commercial strip, and is one of the Lima branches of a brand that also runs two locations in Miraflores and one in Cusco. The menu revolves around dim sum, wok dishes, duck and chifa classics, backed by a bar pouring pisco drinks such as the Kion Punch. Our take: it is a designed, table-service chifa, closer to a weekend outing than to a neighborhood chifa, and it works best when you order a spread for the table. It opens every day from noon, until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays; it takes online reservations and delivers. Curator's note: the brand mentions a Premios Somos nomination, but we could not confirm the year, so we have not recorded it.
