Neira Café Lab

Harry Neira won Peru's national barista championship in 2014 and represented the country at the world final in Italy; in 2017 he opened his own café, and the brand has since multiplied across Lima and even crossed to Austin. This one, on Enrique Palacios, is the original: a small orange room with a pastry case and the bar at the back. Coffee is the point: Peruvian micro-lots from named producers, exotic varieties and filter methods alongside espresso. In 2025 it won Best Specialty Coffee Shop at the Premios Somos. Our read: a neighbourhood café in the best sense —it fills up, people work on laptops, dogs come in— rather than a room to settle into for three hours when there is a queue at the door.
