OSSO San Isidro

OSSO San Isidro occupies the ground floor of the Edificio Torre Real Seis, on Av. Santo Toribio, and according to Forbes it opened in 2016 with 170 seats, as the restaurant version of the butcher shop Renzo Garibaldi had founded years earlier. The concept revolves around meat and fire, with cuts at different stages of aging, from fresh to dry-aged; on Google, the dishes that appear most are the picanha, the lomo saltado, the chorizos and the mac and cheese. Our take: it is a chef-driven grill at big-dining-room scale, built more for eating meat in a group and with time to spare than for an intimate dinner. It opens Monday to Saturday from 12:30 to 22:00 and on Sundays only from 12:00 to 16:00 according to Google, which recommends booking for lunch and dinner. Curation note: the osso.pe domain currently shows an expired-site notice, so hours and phone come from the Google listing.
