Siete Sopas
Why we recommend it
This Siete Sopas location is at Av. Surco 659 in Santiago de Surco. The brand was born in 2016 with a simple idea: a different Peruvian soup for each day (shámbar, caldo de cabeza, menestrón, patasca, huallpa chupe, lamb broth and sancochado), plus breads, Creole dishes and other mains, according to Infomercado; diners' photos at this branch also show lomo saltado, fried rice and cheesecake. Our take: it is the comforting-broth dining room at any hour, practical, generous and unpretentious, more useful in the small hours than as a culinary destination. It opens daily from 9:00 until 1:00 a.m.; Google marks it as good for kids, with a kids' menu. There is free parking, though Google warns spots can be hard to find. Curator's note: the brand does not publish a phone number per location; hours and attributes come from its Google listing.
