BuenaVista Café

BuenaVista Café is at Malecón de la Marina 316 in Miraflores, with terrace and outdoor tables facing the cliff and the Costa Verde. According to the house, it is a family project by two brothers born in Mollendo and raised in Lima, who opened it in memory of their father. The menu is coffee, sandwiches and desserts: club sandwich, salchipapa, chicharrón, burger, hot chocolate and cakes appear on its website. Our take: you come for the view, especially at sunset, and the menu keeps it company without pretension; it is a café for a clifftop stroll, not a specialty-coffee destination. It takes no reservations, so the house recommends arriving early for sunset; it opens from 8:00 to 23:00 (Sundays until 22:00), has no wifi, serves no alcohol and welcomes pets on the terrace.
