Burger Boy

Burgerboy introduces itself in three words — "a classic craving" — but the sauces tell another story: ponja mayo, garlic-butter batayaki, karashi mayo with Japanese mustard, spicy chilimo BBQ, Asian hookim, teriyaki. On that base sit the double-patty California OG with pickles, the Cheese & Chong with smoked bacon, the Kauboi San with jalapeño ranch and teriyaki BBQ, the D. Yeesy with caramelised onion, the Big Pat with onion rings and the veggie Z-40 of griddled mushrooms. The Smoke Buddha, the most loaded of the lot, took the prize in 2023. It began on La Mar and now has five branches in Lima — La Mar, Larco, Surquillo, El Polo and Magdalena. In 2025 it was nominated in the burger category at the Premios Summum, and in 2026 it was among the Premios Somos nominees again.
