Demo Lima

Demo is the bakery-and-coffee arm of the Mérito team, on Domeyer — the Barranco street where several of the district's most sought-after tables cluster. The room is small and counter-led: pale wood, stools, a pastry case of croissants, cachapas and cakes, and coffee at the bar. It opens every day from eight in the morning to nine at night and **takes no bookings: it is first come, first served**. Our read: this is a breakfast or afternoon stop, not a lingering one; pets are welcome, cards are accepted and the spend runs between twenty and sixty soles. Nominated for Summum 2025 as café-restaurant.
