Estadio F.C.

Estadio F.C. occupies a balconied mansion on the 1000 block of Jirón de la Unión, next to Plaza San Martín, decorated as a football shrine: in 2010, on its tenth anniversary, RPP described it as «a true football museum» that was adding life-size sculptures of Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The menu is essentially Peruvian: lomo saltado, duck rice, tacu tacu, causa acevichada and sharing plates, with beer and cocktails at the bar. Our take: it is an unabashed theme restaurant, better for watching a match with a group or taking visitors than for a quiet meal, and it works both for a family lunch and for long weekend nights. It opens daily from 11:45; it closes at 23:00 Monday to Wednesday, at midnight on Thursdays, at 3:00 on Fridays and Saturdays and at 18:00 on Sundays. It has a kids' menu, a private dining room and a terrace, and takes reservations.
